Contest Designer
Duties would include: Designing Contests, figuring out prizes, finding people to donate prizes, etc.

Possibly a Club Promoter
Duties would include: finding affiliates, posting news articles, finding other ways of promoting the club

IMPORTANT!!!! As you probably already know, with a subscription comes a prints account. We're wondering if any of you would be willing to donate prints with your submissions. If you are you can vote in our poll HERE and then if enough people are up for it we can set up a guideline on how to do that which would be loosely: Put somewhere in your note that you give *hippies permission to submit your deviation as a print. All proceeds would only go to the club to purchase prizes for future contests and not to any of the admin. Of course all prints would state the original artist's name and copyright information. All works would continue to rightfully belong to the original artist. If this is not something members would like to do... that's totally fine as well... just a thought to consider!

To join simply add us to your watch list and when we watch you back, you'll know you've been added to the member lists.


I've had to change the rules for this a bit; I apologize if they're long or complicated...
To submit you must be a member of *hippies and you must give us permission to submit your work somewhere either in your journal (preferred) or in the actual deviation.
To submit art please send us a note with the subject "art submission"
Your submission can be in any art form accepted here on DA and obviously the same rules apply as to what's allowed and what's not.
In your note:
Please include the Title of your deviation
A thumbnail of the piece
Anything you want in the description
the category, where it should be submitted to
and any keywords.

I want to start building this club up with a great gallery so if your deviation is not submitted it's not that it's not good artwork, it just might not be right for our gallery. Try again with a different piece!




The deadline for the current two contests has already been extended once and we still only have one submission per contest. So unfortunately, the current contests will be indefinitely put on hold. If you have any suggestions for future contests let us know!
